After reading this a while back I thought Diamond equipped with a huge shield in an RPG AU was the most perfect thing ever… Then I happened to draw everyone else. Some are based off the same post and some are just random using up most of the role/class in a typical RPG. Also added some pointless weird descriptions to things just for fun. I really wish I could of been more creative on some of them. Hmm.. I forgot headgear on all them.. Ahh.. Haha ..

okay i wrote most of this as tags, and then i remembered that i just got an anon who said i should speak up more often, so here it goes:
this image is so potent! the thing i like best about the jade/karkat fratello is their differences from the other patron/kid relationships. you see, what vriska and john, dave and terezi, rose and kanaya all have in common is their dynamic: a troll becomes fascinated and even “obsessed” - a word i believe rose employed - with a human kid and attempts to engage them further for personal amusement
in all four cases, including karkat, the troll also had romantic aspirations after a very short encounter or observation. in the other three cases, however, this swayed the troll to do things like “play” with the kids, sending them on dangerous tasks “to see what happens,” even indicating what clothes they should wear (in all. three. cases. they tried to play dress-up). this is significant because the relationship, then, was Mysterious Aloof Troll Dictanging the Actions of His/Her Human of Choice
but karkat’s admiration took on the opposite form - he was a help, despite her “INFURIATINGLY VAGUE” instruction. no matter how much he complained, he complied, because being a “servant” to his team was the best way to be a leader.
then, when he thought he had failed totally at doing that, which was all he felt he could offer, he rushed to confess this to none other than jade.
what a beautiful relationship. they were my favorite team.
